Teacher’s Day Special with Kindness

Teachers’ day is a very auspicious event for teachers. This is that one day that remarks all the efforts and hard work teachers put in, to see their children shining. Our school never forgets to give each one of our teachers an amazing experience on this day.

On this day, students take the initiative to make their teachers enjoy to the fullest and most importantly let them know how important they are to each student. This year’s teacher’s day celebration was put up by the student council and students from higher grades. Teachers played games made by their students. These games were fun and very interactive for the teachers. For example, Teachers played a game to relish their fun memories as students.

The higher grades made a small skit for their teachers. The skit was related to the problems teachers had to face during online and offline schooling and how the students came up with different excuses to irritate them. Teachers enjoyed the skit thoroughly, as they related to most instances. We ensured them that we knew how much pressure they were going through. Because it doesn’t matter if the curriculum is online or offline, teachers have to put the same amount of effort day and night doing paper corrections, structuring schedules, timetables and so much more work. The job has become more difficult due to the current Covid-19 situation. Teachers have to design more presentations and prepare videos to make us understand the concept in the right way. So we made sure to appreciate their passion and dedication for work.

Lastly, to make it worthwhile; we surprised all the teachers present in school with flowers and cakes. They were really happy to see their students right in front of them, thanking each one of them and valuing their presence in their own lives.
