And we are live…welcome to aidbees! The bees are buzzing and humming and waiting for you to join them in their kindness journey.
We went live with our 27 NGO partners on 14th of Jan. and I take this opportunity to thank each one of them for their support to aidbees. THANK YOU! Each NGO has enriched us with their work and their journey of kindness.
aidbees partnered with jairangam -the Jaipur Theatre Festival group in December to host a panel discussion on “Social Kindness and the Path Ahead”. We were extremely grateful for getting this opportunity even before we had launched. We were honoured to have 6 eminent speakers on our panel to share their enriching journeys towards making the world a kinder place and sharing the perspective for the future of kindness. COVID has affected us all and the panel discussion was a great opportunity to discuss kindness during and post COVID.
As I type this I am thrilled to say we are close to a 200 following on our social media handles in less than three months of being active and February brought our followers on various platforms to celebrate World NGO day. It was our pleasure to partner with 6 NGOs to understand the NGO perspective straight from the NGOs. The struggles, the politics, funding we tried to cover as much as we could. It was one of the rarest opportunities that the NGOs had to put forth their concerns on their day-to-day struggle of the functioning of an NGO. Please do take out time to catch them on our YouTube channel. NGO day also gave us the opportunity to connect with the youth of our country to see how they felt about the world of kindness. What inspires them and where they want to take the world of kindness as they move ahead in life. And the bees bowled us over with their perspectives on social kindness. I would strongly encourage you all to find some time to browse through their conversations with me. I am still wondering what I was doing at their age and what they will be doing at mine 🙂
Last but not least, for this month was the Women’s Day celebrations on our platform. We were fortunate to be able to put together a podcast with three distinguished speakers to look at Women’s day from the voices of women who have chosen paths close to their hearts and less traveled to bring about an equitable world for women. One thing that resonated with me from these conversations, was “every day is a woman’s day but let’s take the world’s women’s day to look at the world from entirely a woman’s perspective”. Please join us to make every day a women’s day.
Looking forward to keeping you updated with what’s happening in and at aidbees.
Till next time.
