Advocate, Support and Empower Differently People in India
World Bank Report on differently abled persons in India, has observed that there’s growing evidence that folks with disabilities comprise between 5 and 8 per cent of the Indian population (around 55 – 90 million people).
There is a standard concern that differently-abled people are amongst the foremost excluded ones within the development process of the country. Furthermore, there’s a wide heterogeneity within the situation and therefore the policy requirements of various groups of differently-abled people in India. There are major differences in social attitudes to differing types of disabilities, including variations thanks to gender, class, place of residence (rural/urban) etc.
